18 Players Named to Preliminary Squad
World Cup Journey Begins July 21
The United States Women's National Team (USWNT) has announced its 18-player roster for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. The team will begin its World Cup journey on July 21, and the final 23-player roster will be unveiled on Wednesday. The 23-woman strong roster includes veterans Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, and Kelley O'Hara, who will each be appearing in their fourth FIFA Women's World Cup.
Head coach Emma Hayes has named the following 18 players to the preliminary squad:

The USWNT is the most successful team in women's international soccer, having won four World Cups and four Olympic gold medals. The team will be looking to add to its medal count in Paris and will be one of the favorites to win the gold.
