The UEFA EURO 2024 will kick off in Munich on Friday 14 June and end with the final in Berlin on Sunday 14 July. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing in six groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will begin with the round of 16 on 29 June. The semi-finals will be played on 2 and 3 July, with the final taking place on 14 July.
All 51 matches of the tournament will be played in 10 cities across Germany. The opening match will be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich, while the final will be played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Other cities hosting matches include Hamburg, Dortmund, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Gelsenkirchen, and Wolfsburg.
The UEFA EURO 2024 will be the 17th edition of the tournament. The defending champions are Italy, who won the 2020 tournament. Other teams that have won the tournament include Germany, Spain, France, and the Netherlands.
